Base Service Transformation and Estate Data Systems

The Base Service Transformation and Estate Data Systems Services Branch (BSTEDS) is designing and leading the delivery of a transformed Base Services Contract Model while ensuring that Estate data systems evolve to meet changing government and organisational priorities. The BSTEDS Branch aims to modernise, digitise, and streamline service delivery, through two arms: Base ​Services Transformation: Lead the redesign of, and transition to, the fourth generation of contracts delivering Base Services to Defence. ​Estate Data Systems: Estate data and systems stewardship role, maintaining and enhancing all estate information and systems to support the entire estate lifecycle.​ BSTEDS also leads several functions on behalf of Security and Estate Group (SEG), including Preparing SEG for progressive integration into Defence Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); ICT Group Point of Contact; and leading Estate data and information strategy / management capabilities.
