Parliamentary Service Commissioner

The Parliamentary Service Commissioner is a statutory officer appointed under the Parliamentary Service Act by the Presiding Officers of the Parliament. The Commissioner's functions are to advise the Presiding Officers on the management policies and practices of the Parliamentary Service and, at the request of the Presiding Officers, to inquire into and report on other matters relating to the Parliamentary Service. The Commissioner also holds the Office of Public Service Commissioner.
