The Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA)​ is the central agency for the processing and granting of security clearances and plays a key role in supporting over 600 Federal, state/territory government agencies and industry partners to mitigate against insider threats, through the provision of responsive and assured security vetting services. AGSVA’s Purpose is delivering responsive and assured vetting services to enable security capability and enables Defence and defence industry to meet the growing challenges of espionage and foreign interference through the provision of a responsive and assured vetted workforce. AGSVA’s vision is to deliver a contemporary vetting capability of services and functions to protect Australia’s national security interests through the provision of a trusted and assured workforce, for whole-of-government and industry partners.
