Security Policy and Services (SPSB) Branch is part of the Defence Security Division. The Security Policy and Services Branch is responsible for the development and assurance of security policy​ across Defence and building security resilience in the defence industry sector. This is achieved through a range of mechanisms including the Defence Security Strategy, Defence Security Principles Framework and the Defence Industry Security Program, as well as contributing to whole-of-government initiatives to uplift national security. The Branch also develops and conducts security training, as well as communication and outreach activities to support these programs.
