The Joint Support Services Division (JSSD) mission is to provide a range of capabilities and support services, including Gender, Peace and Security, Youth, ADF Sports and Reserve & Employer Support to contribute to Defence capability and preparedness. The role of Joint Support Services Division (JSSD) is to: - Direct and report to government on Defence’s implementation of Australia’s National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security (2020 – 2030) - Maintain a coordinated, coherent and well - governed approach to youth development, experience and recognition programs in Defence, in particular the ADF Cadets - Lead and sustain the ADF program for conventional and adaptive sports - Enhance the capacity of the ADF Reserves to contribute to ADF capability and preparedness - Support Commander Joint Capabilities Group
