Enterprise Evaluation & Performance

T​he purpose of Defence's enterprise performance management is to ensure that strategy​, capability and resources are aligned with Government direction to achieve intended results and outcomes. Defence's enterprise performance management is also designed to assist Defence APS and ADF personnel demonstrate compliance​ with the Public Governance, Performance, and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act), which requires that all Commonwealth officials to apply good governance and management practices and procedures in day-to-day management.​ Effective enterprise performance reporting assists Defence to assess overall performance and assure Government that Defence is using Commonwealth resources sensibly and effectively to deliver value to the Australian community.
