Major Surface Ships

Major Surface Ships (MSS) Branch partners with Navy and Industry to assure that the Navy’s Major Surface Ships remain seaworthy and available. The Branch oversees the work of five Systems Program Offices (SPOs) responsible for the materiel aspects of asset management of Navy’s Major Warships and key operational infrastructure.
