Provides the rigorous accountability of the DVA strategic research model, which oversights the development, governance and monitoring of all research activities undertaken or commissioned by DVA.
The Research Board assists the Repatriation Commission and the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission to ensure efficient use of research resources by oversighting the shared research agenda with the Department of Defence, consistent with the Government's election commitment to recognise the unique nature of military service.
