Data and Insights Branch

The Data and Insights Branch is responsible for evolving the way in which the Department produces and uses data, to underpin evidence-based policy development, service delivery and wellbeing outcomes. The Branch includes the Chief Data Officer (CDO), who provides expert leadership and advice to the Department, the Commissions and the Minister on matters relating to the creation, collection, management and use of data and insights.
