The Access and Communication branch is responsible for: making the Archives better known, understood and appreciated by the general public; increasing the use of the Archives' collection through public information, the national reference service, exhibitions, publications, web sites, education and events programs; contributing to the ongoing conversation about what it means to be Australian through programs and projects developed for many different audiences; and establishing and maintaining the professional image and relationships of the Archives through communication with external audiences.
