The National Accessible Public Transport Advisory Committee (NAPTAC) provides a mechanism for governments, the public transport industry, the disability sector, and other relevant organisations, to discuss accessible public transport issues affecting people with disability. The committee has a particular focus on the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 (Transport Standards).
The previous Accessible Public Transport Jurisdictional Committee (APTJC) will continue as a sub-group to provide specific legislative functions.
