The Administrator is the most senior Australian Government representative in the Territories and is responsible for the law, order and good governance of the Territories. Established by the Christmas Island Act 1958 and Administration Ordinance 1968 (CI); and Cocos (Keeling) Act 1955 and Administration Ordinance 1975 (CKI).
