The Australian National Maritime Foundation is the fundraising arm of the museum. The Foundation’s objectives are to create a capital fund, through gifts, bequests and
fundraising activities, for the purposes of:
• Acquiring major additional items or collections of items to develop the National Maritime Collection;
• Conserving the National Maritime Collection; and
• Other activities which enhance the National Maritime Collection.
