ANZEMC provides nationwide and Trans-Tasman leadership on the management of all hazards through a natural hazard lens, focusing on the intersection and interdependencies between natural hazards and non-natural hazards. It is responsible for supporting the National Emergency Management Ministers’ Meeting (NEMMM) to identify, design and deliver its five priorities and for identifying emerging issues and longer-term challenges likely to significantly impact Australia and New Zealand’s capacity to manage all hazards.
