ASDMAC is a specialist sports medical advisory committee appointed by the Federal Minister for Sport. ASDMAC are authorised to consider and where appropriate approve Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE) for athletes who are required to take for therapeutic reasons, a substance prohibited under the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Prohibited List. ASDMAC is also responsible for providing medical and anti-doping advice to Sport Integrity Australia, Sporting Bodies, Doctors, Athletes and Parents.
