The Australian Digital Health Agency was established in law on 30 January 2016 by the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (Establishing the Australian Digital Health Agency) Rule 2016 (the Rule), which was made by the Commonwealth Finance Minister under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) on 27 January 2016. The Agency commenced full operations on 1 July 2016.
