Your guide to the structures, organisations and key people in the Australian Government

Employment and Workplace Relations
The Australian Government is undertaking a review of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act), the legislation which underpins the Comcare workers’ compensation scheme. The SRC Act provides rehabilitation and workers’ compensation arrangements of the Commonwealth Government, the ACT Government, and a number of private corporations who self-insure their workers’ compensation obligations un the SRC Act. The review will be conducted by an independent panel and will address all aspects of the scheme, including governance, usability, and entitlements and provide recommendations to modernise and futureproof the scheme.
