The Nature Finance Council has been established to advise the Australian Government, through the Minister for the Environment and Water, on how to: - increase finance into transparent and real benefits for nature, - position Australia as a global leader in nature finance, and - commercialise credible emerging nature markets. The council will meet quarterly to discuss matters related to nature finance. The council will look to engage with government departments and agencies across several portfolios.
