Animal Strategy and Coordination Branch works with government and industry stakeholders to lead and coordinate animal health programs and activities to reduce the risks and impact of emergency animal diseases on Australia’s animal, human and environmental health. The branch strategically manages disease preparedness, international market access, legislative amendments, verification activities and data driven cargo reform across the biosecurity continuum. The branch also leads key functions across the division to build capability across our people, business practices and systems.
