The Food Policy Branch manages, facilitates and provides support on agrifood strategy, domestic food regulation (including whole-of-system issues such as FSANZ Act review), the Food Regulation Standing Committee, the Food Ministers’ Meeting, food and beverage manufacturing, domestic food incident responses and recalls (including food fraud and labelling), domestic food certification (including domestic organics reform), wine, horticulture and crop industry policy, programs and engagement.
