Export Regulatory Stewardship Branch drives the uplift, assurance and continuous improvement of the export regulatory system through legal policy development and legislative reform, regulatory capability uplift, third-party and internal assurance, governance, analytics, and responsibility for engagement with the Inspector General of Animal Welfare and Live Animal Exports. The branch collaborates across Agricultural Trade and Regulation Group and the department to promote consistency, embed good regulatory governance and support staff in lawful decision-making.
