Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Regulator

The Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) Regulator is established under the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Act 2005 (the WELS Act) and is an officer of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, supported by staff within the Department. The WELS Regulator is responsible for monitoring and enforcing the WELS scheme and ensuring that the objective of the WELS act to conserve water is met.
