The Governance Board will oversee the management and organisational affairs of the RBA, delivery of critical banking, payment settlement and banknote services, and risk management and financial reporting. The Board will also determine policies in relation to any other matters not covered by the Monetary Policy Board or the Payments System Board. The Governance Board is also the accountable authority of the Reserve Bank under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013. Membership consists of the Governor, Deputy Governor, a senior staff member of the Reserve Bank Service and six external members.
