First Principles Review Oversight Board

The Oversight Board’s function is to provide independent advice to the Minister for Defence on embedding long-lasting change in Defence as intended through the First Principles Review. The Board assists in ensuring the intent of the Government-endorsed recommendations of the First Principles Review are fully realised in Defence. The Board provides assistance where required to the Secretary of Defence and the Chief of the Defence Force, and the Defence Leadership with implementing the remaining work of the First Principles Review.
