The Foundation Skills Advisory Group was established in October 2022 to provide advice in three key areas, including redesign of the foundation skills program, the Australian Government’s response to the final report of the House of Representatives Inquiry into Adult Literacy, and the design of the new National Study on Adult Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills. . The Advisory Group brings together individual experts and representatives from a range of organisations, including foundation skills peak bodies, industry, employers, unions, First Nations organisation and state and territory governments.
