Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems (MIWS) Branch is responsible for the Update and Upgrade of the Royal Australian Navy’s Surface Fleet Warfare and related support systems.
These services are provided to the Surface Fleet System Program Offices (SPOs) by MIWS Branch as the through life asset manager/steward of the Navy’s Surface Fleet Warfare Systems. In addition, MIWS provide the commercial mechanisms to enable Surface Fleet SPOs to conduct the day to day running of the upkeep of their platform’s fitted Warfare Systems.
To do this work, MIWS Branch is supported by its Defence Industry Sovereign Partners under collaborative alliancing arrangements.
