Joint Aviation Systems Division (JASD) manages products and projects that are among some of the largest and most complex acquisition and sustainment enterprises in Australia. This includes the acquisition and sustainment of helicopters and tactical uncrewed aerial systems for the Navy and Army, and pilot and aircrew training systems for the entire ADF. JASD is responsible to the ADF for the delivery of acquisition and sustainment outcomes and is focused on setting the highest possible standard for materiel support. This includes a philosophy of materiel management across the capability life cycle from an asset management perspective and partnering with industry to deliver a dedicated service-orientated team, providing support to all stakeholders. The Division manages large projects and is responsible for sustaining several capabilities for Navy, Army and Air Force.
