The Medicare Benefits Schedule Review Advisory Committee (MRAC) will provide independent, clinician-led and patient centric advice to government to ensure the Medicare Benefits Schedule is contemporary, sustainable, evidence-based, and supports universal access to high value care for all Australians. The MRAC will operate in parallel and complementary to the Medical Services Advisory Committee and its Health Technology Assessment framework. Membership of the MRAC includes individuals with clinical, consumer and research expertise who have been appointed in an individual expert capacity, and not as representatives of organisation.
