Benefits Policy Branch

The Branch is responsible for maintaining, developing and providing policy advice to the DVA executive and the Minister on eligibility, compensation and income support for serving and former serving members of the Australian Defence Force and their families; costing new and amended policies; indexation of payment rates, thresholds, limits of pensions and allowances; and reviewing and evaluating policy and legislation including to better align veteran entitlements.
