Principal Medical Advisor - Compensation

The Principal Medical Adviser Compensation (PMA-C) provides support to the CHO and deputises for the CHO as required. The PMA-C provides expert leadership and clinical advice to support the Department.  The PMA-C provides clinical leadership on compensation matters, and is responsible for ensuring that DVA compensation arrangements are informed by clinical best practice. The PMA-C is responsible to the CHO for the clinical leadership, technical control, development and administration of the Compensation clinical advisers, including the clinical governance framework under which they practice. The PMA-C acts as the national escalation point for any disputes regarding health advice from Compensation clinical advisers.
