Finance & Investment

The Finance and Investment Division supports the department to be efficient, effective and financially sustainable through our business partnerships, the Finance Service Charter and our specialist centres of excellence. We provide expert financial and management advice and support to the department, the office of the minister and to industry stakeholders. We deliver on business objectives through partnering with other divisions to help them achieve their objectives, taking responsibility for the financial sustainability of the department and ensuring all departmental officers have access to the financial tools and information they need to meet their obligations in the utilisation of public resources. The division is responsible for ensuring all the financial processes that support the department’s operations are fit for purpose, comply with relevant laws and rules and efficiently and effectively support the achievement of departmental outcomes.
