Meat Exports

The Meat Exports Branch (MEB) works with industry and international stakeholders to deliver and maintain: a national regulatory inspection, verification and certification framework and associated regulatory services; delivery of the European Union Cattle Accreditation Scheme, the Authorised Officer (meat inspection) Program, Official Marks program and the Australian Government Authorised Halal Program; export registration and certification services through EXDOC an NEXDOC; administration of 48 tariff rate quotas for products exported to the EU, USA and Japan.
