The Deputy Commissioner NSW/ACT is the senior Departmental Officer in the Sydney location and leads the NSW State Office. The Deputy Commissioner actively engages with a diverse range of stakeholders and organisations within the ex-service and veteran communities. In addition, this position is responsible as the Assistant Secretary Business Improvement & Support Branch to lead a team responsible for processing compensation claims, reviews and reconsiderations, Rehabilitation & Compensation accounts, the SAM team, and a range of governance and support functions.
