The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) is the Australian Government agency responsible for the assessment of pesticides and veterinary medicines and their regulation up to and including the point of supply (e.g. retail sale). It sits within the portfolio of the Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources.
